Glory has come a long way in just a few short weeks. She has made tremendous progress with house-breaking. She has no accidents during the day as long as she is let outside frequently enough. She can still piddle in her crate over-night if she doesn't get let out soon enough in the morning. But she is really trying and what an improvement. Her house manners are also greatly improving. She will sit and wait for her food dish to be put in front of her, sits on command for treats and will even lay down on command. This little girl really, really wants to please.
Glory's background: Glory has had a hard time in her short life (she's about 9 months old). Most of it has been spent in a crate 24/7 with little or no attention. This led to the issues with house-training and house manners. But in the short time she has been in foster care, she has made great strides. It would probably be best if she were placed with someone who is either home all day or who can let her outside after about 4 hours. She still has trouble holding it for longer than that. A home with a doggie door would be ideal. While she has some rough edges, the devotion and love she will shower you with will be worth it. She really wants to trust people again. Despite all of her trials and hardships, she is a gentle soul. If you have the time, please consider adding Gloryl to your family. All inquiries should go to animalrescuecarolina@yahoo.com.
