The name’s Alfred. Little while back, I was chased into the lake by a dog and brutally attacked! Nice lady came to my rescue and got me out of the water & the dog’s mouth, and boy, was she yellin’!! The next day or so is blurry… they said I was “in shock”. My blood pressure didn’t even register and my temperature was way too low. I had bites all over my body! I was hurtin’! I think it darn near killed me. So maybe I used up a life. Good thing is, I’m still here! Minus a leg, but I guess that’s a small price to pay, all things considered. Heck, I’ve got 3 more and I get around just fine. Basically, I’m a good guy. And I guess I’m handsome enough. I don’t like other cats gettin’ in my space bubble, but I can get along with ‘em and I’m fairly laid back. I like nappin’ on the couch next to my person. And dogs? Hey, don’t even talk to me about dogs!
