Birdie is about 18months old, and is full-grown at about 20lbs. Birdie was found on the side of a dirt road with a fractured pelvis.  She is now fully healed and ready to be a great dog for the right person or family. Birdie is very loving and playful with people and other dogs although probably too high energy for older dogs and children under 5. She follows her people around the house, and is a great cuddler. Birdie is very energetic and needs exercise. She is crate trained, and is pretty good on a leash. House training is in progress.  Upon recheck - Birdie's pelvis has healed to the point that is is nearly indistinguishable from the side that was not injured.  There is a chance that the trauma may lead to arthritis in the future, but the vet said the more exercise she gets, the better.  Birdie has no issues running around, getting up and down stairs, or hopping up on/off the couch.
